The Challenge:
VBSH, the Schaffhausen Transport Company, embarked on a journey to modernize its transportation services through the development of a Progressive Web App (PWA). The primary challenge was to create a user-friendly trip planner feature within the PWA, allowing passengers to access real-time route options, schedules, and travel information effortlessly.
The Solution:
In collaboration with Festland, Lighthaus Eko contributed its expertise to develop a cutting-edge trip planner feature for the VBSH Progressive Web App. While Festland focused on building other features of the PWA, our team spearheaded the implementation of the trip planner. Leveraging technologies like Nuxt SSR and TYPO3 Headless CMS, we crafted a seamless and responsive interface.
Our approach involved extensive research to understand the specific needs of VBSH passengers regarding trip planning. With our deep understanding of web development and user experience design, we created a feature that met the diverse requirements of VBSH's clientele. By integrating advanced routing algorithms and real-time data, we ensured that passengers could easily access accurate travel information across devices.
